I am a psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice in Bethesda, MD. For over 35 years, I have been helping children, adolescents, and adults, struggling with relationships, self-esteem, and resilience. As an expert in early childhood development, I find that the best outcomes for children and adolescents results from collaboration with parents.
My services are both therapeutic and diagnostic. The therapeutic services I offer include parent consultation, couples therapy, and brief and long-term psychotherapy. I also offer a broad range of diagnostic testing. Together with Mary Beardsley, M.Ed., we provide comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, and educational testing, which helps to clarify the root of the difficulties people experience. These services lead to more efficient and effective intervention for adults, as well as children and adolescents.

As of January 1, 2025 I have retired from doing psychological evaluations. I have retained Cariend, a medical records custodian, to manage my records for the next 14 years. Cariend is not a medical or psychological service provider and does not handle billing or referrals for my closed practice.
If you require a copy of an evaluation you should be prepared to complete the Records Release Authorization Form and provide a copy of government-issued photo ID, as required by HIPPA.
